About Me

General

I was born in the greater Montreal area in December 2002 and grew up on the West side of the island. My family, social and school environment ensured that French and English were part of my daily life.

Competition

Since a young age, I’ve participated in competitive sports. This allowed me to discover two things. I like being part of a team and identifying with them. On the other hand, I like the adrenaline that I find in competitions. They allow me to accomplish myself, measure myself and surpass myself.

As a part of my universities, I joined RockÉTS, the student rocketry team in early 2025. I applied my experience with CAD and manufacturing to bring a Nose tip camera to light. I participated at my first competition in August of 2025. My responsibilities consisted of assembling the parachute systems and the fuselages for both our brand new hybrid rocket called Ataksak and our sixty-thousand-foot-bound solid rocket called Arrow.

In September 2025 I stepped up as aerostructure lead. Having had the least amount of experience in the competitive team, I knew that rising to this challenge would require a major commitment. Learning the ins and outs of leadership was a unexpected but very rewarding experience. I gained experience in administration, public speaking, and technical writing on a competitive level.

Academics

I have always been attracted by the way things work and by technology in general. In high school, I learned the first basics of robotics, coding and participated up to the provincial level in the various science fairs offered by the school.

Wanting to become an engineer, I chose the CEGEP Dawson technical program in mechanical engineering. The practical application side of my skills led me to this choice. In the winter of 2022, I then made the decision to extend my college studies so that I could complete my advanced math courses and some science courses. Since, I’ve been studying mechanical engineering at l’École de Technologie Supérieur in Montreal.

I have always been on sports teams. This allowed me to discover two things. I like being part of a team and identifying with them. On the other hand, I like the adrenaline that I find in competitions. They allow me to accomplish myself, measure myself and surpass myself.
